Slow down Sat.

Well it's been a week or so since Ihave done a slow down. But I need to it's beena hectic week. School has been great even though we may lose 2 girls because the church down the street is starting it's preschool next week.

oops, my peace and quiet has been taken away. They are both up now, I'll be back later.

Shh don't tell anyone

It's 6:30am and I am awake and enjoying a cup of coffee......... alone. The first time in a long while that I have been alone at home. Shhh! Don't tell my family.

Sunday Scribblings #114

Nights, there are so many different things about the nights that people do. There were 1001 Arabian nights, the endless nights of zombie, sleepless nights with a new baby, bad nights when your kids are away, myself personally I like staying up at night to relax. Yes I may of had a long day but staying up is my chance to spend some me time. It may seem selfish to not go to bed at the same time as my husband but I prefer it. He snores and I don't want to have to listen to him get comfortable and shift around while I am trying to do the same thing. It's kinda nice to be up that late and not have to share the TV with anyone.

Most nights I am alone with just Halley to keep me company, watching TV maybe reading a book, maybe working on my crochet projects. I really need to get back in the habit of working on my projects since I should have finished my nieces blanket months ago, seeing as how it was her graduation present and she graduated last week, lol. Tonight is one of those nights when I am not alone, Savie is asleep on the couch and so is hubby. Every night is a new thing. Some nights it's a peaceful thing and some nights I see a parade of animals, javelina, deer, foxes, and coyotes. What do you do at night?

So I am home alone

I went and got my hair braided today, got up and left the house around 6am this morning, which is really early for me on a Sat, lol. So hubby took Savie to the mountains for the day and she finally got to use her backpack which has a sleeping bag, tent, flashlight, canteen etc. I knew she would be really happy to do it to. Hubby called around 5:30p to tell me that they were flooded in, yes I said in, at the campsite and not to worry about them or try to come get them. Was I worried?? A little but he called and I know where they are so it's not that big of a deal plus they have plenty of food and should be home early tomorrow. So I came home and enjoyed the piece and quiet that is my house tonight.
