In an attempt to celebrate spring I have just a bunch of random things that I do.
- Toy Box in the back of the SUV. It's got a bunch of random sand toys in it cuz you never know when you are going to stop at the park, especially here where there are 3 parks between our house and the library, and several in town when we go. This way I just pull up at the park, get her out of the car, pull the toy box, and that's it. Several toys have been added from other kids we play with but we see them throughout the week so it's ok. (which reminds me that I need to restock, lol)
- Music in the morning. Some mornings I have a hard time getting us going and music has always a big movement factor for me so I turn on the TV to a digital radio station, make breakfast, wash some dishes, clean up some and we are moving that much faster.
- "Hand on the car" when your out shopping and trying to put things in the car it's was to lose track of a kid I've found out, especially in the parking lot. Some days she doesn't want to get in the car first or I haven't pulled the keys out yet so instead of making her hold my hand (which doesn't help when I'm looking for the keys) I tell her to "put a hand on the car". You can't go very far when you've got a hand on the car, lol.
